The standard copyright protection term lasts for the lifetime of the author plus fifty (50) years following his death (except posthumous works). However, the duration of copyright protection varies depending on the type of work.
For collective works, anonymous or pseudonymous works, audiovisual works, and posthumous works, the copyright protection term lasts for fifty (50) years from publication or fifty (50) years from creation if the works are unpublished. For photographs or the work of applied art, the copyright protection term lasts for fifty (50) years from creation.
